Obama’s misinformation campaign continues

The Lie:Obama Repeats ’90 Percent’ Stat for U.S. Guns Recovered in Mexico

The Truth: Recovered doesn’t mean the percentage of all firearms confiscated at Mexican crime scenes. It doesn’t mean the subset of these firearms traceable to any source. It does mean the percentage of traceable weapons linked to a U.S. source. And, again, that total is 5,114 out of 29,000 — or 17.6 percent — in the years 2007 and 2008.

The US Bizarro World

It appears that Janet Napolitano is more concerned, with investigating US Citizens than with impeding illegal immigration.

According to its website, one of the missions of the Department of Homeland Security is “… to anticipate, preempt, detect and deter threats to the homeland and to safeguard our people and their freedoms, critical infrastructure, property and the economy of our nation from acts of terrorism, natural disasters and other emergencies”.

It appears that Janet Napolitano is more concerned, with investigating US Citizens than with impeding illegal immigration. Under her “leadership”, the Department of Homeland Security appears to be more interested in restricting our freedoms and less interested in safeguarding them. Is she turning DHS into another Stasi?

God Bless America and the United States Navy!

Congratulations to our US Navy, for the successful rescue of Captain Richard Phillips. It is too bad, but not unexpected, that Barack Hussein Obama did not show the courage displayed, by our Armed Forces.

I can’t be the only one who noticed that BHO was not willing to make a statement regarding, the pirates or the hostage situation, until after it had been resolved. No comment – no risk of being held responsible, had there been a different outcome. Our troops deserve better leadership.
